The purpose of the Supervision Institute is to provide resources, support, supervision training and clinical supervision specific CPD that encourages curiosity, challenges practice and elevates the clinical supervision you provide.

Here at the Supervision Institute, I believe that good quality clinical supervision is key to good practice across the helping professions. I hope to encourage clinical supervisors to be curious about their practice and maintain their supervisory skills, so that they can continue to provide clinical supervision of value to their supervisees.

For aspiring and practising clinical supervisors, across the helping professions. This podcast is all about the craft of supervision, the skills, debates, models, research and practice of the wonderful world of helping those that help others.

Hosted by me, Dr Mish, a supervision enthusiast. I completed my doctorate in clinical supervision and I am passionate about the importance of clinical supervision for those who help others in their role.

I'm Dr Mish

A therapist and Supervisor.

For more than 20 years I have been working in a variety of roles across the helping professionals, and have been attending supervision for my practice for most of these years. I have been offering multi disciplinary supervision since 2014 and completed my doctoral research on practitioner self-care in clinical supervision in counselling and psychotherapy.

I know, first hand, the value and importance of supervision. I am a supervisor enthusiast! For me, good quality clinical supervision is the cornerstone of professional practice.

Maintaining and enhancing supervisory skills is essential for continuing to provide value in supervision. That’s why I have established the Supervision Institute!
